Remember to breathe

You really can't even tell how pretty the fabric from the Every Which Way kit is from a photo. I wanted to do something different with it ... something I've never done on a layout. As the swatch that comes in the kit measures 9x12, it's large enough to completely cover an 8.5x11 piece of cardstock or thin cardboard. I used double-sided tape and found that it worked quite well. I had a piece from a vintage doily hanging around that I hand-sewed around the edges ... just enough to hold it in place. The Studio Calico paper is spritzed with the Before Dawn Vibez (add-on #2) to provide a backdrop for the title and main embellishment. The Studio Calico journaling card is matted on white cardstock and attached with foam adhesive. I also covered the flower and leaves with a layer of Rock Candy Distress Stickles.

I wondered whether my embellishments would stick directly to the fabric because it is so textured, but the Prima Pebble stuck right on and the buttons held nicely with liquid glue.

Oh ... and the title is something I have to tell myself when I find myself getting upset or anxious about something. For whatever reason, I start holding my breath which only aggitates me further. I know. Kinda silly :)

I also used a Studio Calico rip strip and sticker from the 1st add-on.
