NSD Kit Winner!

Sorry everyone. I've been missing in action these past few days.
Not to get into it, but I've had some medical issues since Sunday.
Today is my first day back at the store so I'm finally getting to the drawing.
I added the in-store ballots with the comments left here on the blog, and the lucky winner is ....

.... Tracey! (blog commenter)
Congrats Tracey :) You have your choice of either side of the March or May kits. E-mail me with your choice and mailing address so that I can get that sent out to you.

Thanks to everyone who stopped in on the weekend or who stopped by the blog to comment.
Have a great week :)

Happy National Scrapbooking Day!

The weather is so beautiful today that I don't know how many scrappers around here will actually be scrapbooking though. I have a feeling that there will be a lot of outside work being done.
I still have to get a few Mother's Day cards done myself yet today. If you're in the same boat as I am, and are feeling "stuck" for ideas, have a look at what Heather and Lesley have created with the May kits.

Lesley's aren't specific to Mother's Day, but you could certainly customize them to fit your purpose. But back to NSD ... it seems like a good excuse to do a giveaway. Leave a comment on this post as to what you're doing for NSD and/or Mother's Day and I'll add your name to the instore drawing for a kit of your choosing from March or May. I'll draw a name on Monday to give everyone a chance to enter :)
Now off to get those cards done ....

May Kits ... "Social Butterfly" and "Cottage Country"

These are the kits I've been waiting for. The blues and greens are always my go-to colours, and the mix of brown and pink finish them off to create some truly usable kits.
Prima Madeline, Cosmo Cricket Social Club and Little Yellow Bicycle Twig are the basis for the "Social Butterfly" kit ...
Alphabet and fabric leaves from Prima as well as a variety of Pink Paislee bakers twine ...A LYB canvas border and journaling spot, Maya Road resin blossoms, Kaisercraft wooden butterfly ...Prima Mistables canvas paper, Maya Road journaling spots and Pink Paislee printed tissue ...More of the Prima Madeline, Basic Grey Hello Luscious and Webster's Pages Country Estate are found in "Cottage Country" ...Lots of pretty Prima flowers and butterfly pins from Webster's Pages ...Webster's Pages alphas & trim, Prima sticker accents, a Melissa Frances envelope & tag and another sheet of the Prima Mistables canvas paper ...I was a little late this month getting the kits to the design team, but I've already received projects from Lesley. Drop by the Gallery periodically through the month to see more of the Design Team's work.

March Contest Winner!

Congratulations Ruby!
Hope this brightens an otherwise wet and dreary Sunday :)
