Happy National Scrapbooking Day!

The weather is so beautiful today that I don't know how many scrappers around here will actually be scrapbooking though. I have a feeling that there will be a lot of outside work being done.
I still have to get a few Mother's Day cards done myself yet today. If you're in the same boat as I am, and are feeling "stuck" for ideas, have a look at what Heather and Lesley have created with the May kits.

Lesley's aren't specific to Mother's Day, but you could certainly customize them to fit your purpose. But back to NSD ... it seems like a good excuse to do a giveaway. Leave a comment on this post as to what you're doing for NSD and/or Mother's Day and I'll add your name to the instore drawing for a kit of your choosing from March or May. I'll draw a name on Monday to give everyone a chance to enter :)
Now off to get those cards done ....

  1. What gorgeous cards!!!
Happy NSD!! I hope to get a little scrappy this afternoon!!
And tomorrow is Mother's Day and my wedding anniversary but sadly we have the flu here in our house so we are taking it easy!!

  2. I'm doing some scrapping tonight with friends and then dinner with Mum tomorrow :)

  3. Heather and Lesley's cards are gorgeous!
I helped host a couple of online crops for NSD and we are going out for lunch for Chinese food for Mother's Day.
I got one layout scrapped today. Yay!

  4. Spent a lovely spring day with my family at an auction this morning, a quick visit to my favourite scrappy store this afternoon, and a yummy dinner!

Tomorrow... some 'me' time with my new scrap goodies from Up The Street! :)

  5. Going to my mother in law's!! thanks also for a chance to win!

  6. You got me! I was one of the ones working outside in the garden...weeding. But my son was UP THE STREET and picked up a Mother's Day surprise! It was such a nice Mother's Day, we made the day up as we went along. He made lunch for us and we ate it out on the deck. Nice. I'm so blessed!

I did make a couple of cards for the "moms" in my life on NSD. :)
