Canvas Class
Friday, November 30th at 7:00 pm.  $25.00 (taxes included) ... Class by Tara
A whimsical 8"x16" mixed media canvas suitable for your own Christmas decorating or as a heartfelt, handmade gift.
Features a variety of products and techniques.  You will go home with a few tools and more than a few ideas to use in your future projects.
Bring heat gun (if possible) to class.  All other supplies will be provided.
* Should this class sell out and there is enough interest, the class will be given again (date to be determined) *

Christmas Cards
Saturday, December 1st at 1:00 pm.  $20.00 per person (taxes included) ... Class by Laura
Create four lovely Christmas Cards using a traditional colour palette and some new techniques.
Bring adhesives, scissors and trimmer to class.

Monthly Card Series ... December
Wednesday, December 5th at 6:30 pm
or Thursday, December 6th at 1:00 pm ... Class by Laura & Tara
$30.00 per person, plus taxes
Assemble twelve, yes twelve, Christmas Cards in this three hour class.  Each one unique but less involved than the cards designed for the class on Saturday, December 1st.
Bring adhesives, scissors and trimmer to class.

Christmas Layout Class
Friday, December 14th at 1:00 pm or 7:00 pm.  $20.00 per person (taxes included) ... Class by Tara
A two-page Christmas Layout using papers from Graphic 45's "Place in Time" Collection.  Traditional colours and plenty of sparkle.
Bring adhesives, scissors and trimmer to class.

As with all Up The Street classes, any scrapbooking purchases made the day of the class will be discounted by 10%.

February Classes

Step away from the ordinary folded card and construct four gorgeous all occasion cards ... each one featuring different techniques and compositions.

Friday, February 24th ... Double-Page Layout Class
... $15.00 per person (plus tax) ...1pm - 4pm

Scrapbooking is all about memory keeping. This double-page layout features patterned papers from Kaisercraft's Madame Boutique Collection. With a colour palette of teals, mustards and browns, this layout is suitable for recording current events as well as reminiscing about times past.

The class fee entitles you to 20% off any scrapbooking purchases made that day as well as a voucher for a FREE crop.

Please reserve your spot by Wednesday, February 22nd.

Kids' Mixed Media Mini Album Class

Ages 8 and up.

1:00 - 3:00 pm ... $20.00 per person (plus taxes).

A 6x9 inch, hard cover album featuring patterned papers from Studio Calico, Cosmo Cricket and Basic Grey. Customize your album by creating the covers and adding stamped images to the inside sheets. Finish your album by binding it yourself!

Participants are required to bring their own adhesive.

Receive a 10% discount on any supplies purchased that day.

Must be booked by October 4th. Participants must also pre-pay by this date. Limited number of spots available.

Fall Card Class Series

This card class series has been designed to help you create a well-stocked card inventory and get you started on your Christmas cards.

At each class, you will make a total of 12 cards (3 each of 4 designs).

Tuesday, September 13th ... All Occasion cards

Tuesday, October 4th ... All Occasion cards

Tuesday, November 1st ... Christmas cards

Tuesday, December 6th ... Christmas cards

By the end of the series, you will have created a total of 48 cards, half of which are Christmas.

The cost of the series is $100.00 plus tax (receive a 10% discount if the series is paid by September 1st) and is non-refundable. Upon payment, you will also receive a coupon valid for 20% off your entire scrapbook purchase to be used at a future date (may only be used once, no cash value).

The classes will take place from 7 until 10pm on each date. If there is enough interest, an afternoon class may be added.

Tuesday, March 1st, 2011 ... Card Class

6:30 pm ... taught by Tara

Learn some new techniques while creating five beautiful all occasion cards.

We will be using Ranger Distress inks in several different ways, embossing folders for custom letter-pressed tag accents, sticky-back canvas, vellum, etc.

$20.00 class fee includes a 10% discount on any scrapbooking items purchased that evening.

Class participants must bring good quality two-sided tape and scissors.

Kids Valentine Card Class

Saturday, January 29th, 2011
Ages 9 and up.
Using the Be My Valentine line from We R Memory Keepers, participants will make 15 Valentine cards.
1:00 to 3:00 pm ... taught by Laura.
$20.00 class fee must be paid in advance. E-mail upthestreet@isp.ca to reserve your spot.
